On September 30, Steven Wu, Director of China Office of International Office of University of Chester (UC), U.K., led a delegation of 3 members visited Dalian Polytechnic University (DPU). The aim of the visit is to discuss the possible cooperation programs between the two universities. Professor An Qingda, Vice President of DPU, had a cordial meeting with the visitors. Relevant responsible persons of International Office, School of International Education, School of Information Science and Engineering, and School of Light Industry ad Chemical Engineering also attended the meeting.
Over the meeting, Vice President An Qingda first introduced DPU characters and strengths. Director Steven Wu also introduced UC and suggested possible cooperation in the fields of applied chemistry, chemical engineering, electronic information engineering. At last, relevant responsible persons had a detailed discussion with the visitors.
After the meeting, the visitors had a campus tour and visited several laboratories of School of Information Science and Engineering and School of Light Industry ad Chemical Engineering. They spoke highly of the research facilities.
