Songyi LIN  Professor

Songyi LIN, born in 07.1970, female, full professor, doctoral supervisor, the vice president of College of Food Science, the deputy director of Food Engineering Technology Research Center of Liaoning province, the academic leader in the direction of the intensive processing of agricultural products of Dalian Polytechnic University. At 06. 2016, Professor LIN was introduced in College of Food Science, Dalian Polytechnic University. From 08.2005 to 05.2016, Professor LIN taught in the specialty of food science and engineering in Jilin University. At 06.2005, Professor LIN graduated from School of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Jilin University, and obtained a doctor degree in Engineering. From 10. 2010 to 11. 2011, Professor LIN was a national visiting scholar at Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Clemson University, USA. From 01.2010 to 11.2013, Professor LIN conducted a postdoctoral research at Biology postdoctoral station of Jilin university. Professor LIN posts the expert of Food Science and Engineering Field Investigation Certified by National Engineering Education, Communication Evaluation of Postgraduate Dissertation for Ministry of Education, Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project Evaluation, and National Resource Sharing Curriculum Evaluation, etc. Professor LIN also posts managing director of Chinese Trace Elements of Science, director of Nonthermal Processing of Chinese Institute Branch of Food Science and Technology, reviewer of “Food Chemistry”, “Food & Function”, “Food and Chemical Toxicology”, “Journal of Food Science and Technology”, “International Journal of Peptide Research and Therapeutics”, “Jilin University Journals”, “Food Science”, and “Food Science and Technology”.

1. Main academic research direction: (1) Intensive processing of agricultural products and the utilization of by-products; (2) Research and development of food-borne functional peptide; (3) The application of high voltage pulsed electric field technology in the field of functional food research; (4) Methods and principles of quality control of food processing.

4. Main coursesTeaching the courses of Functional food” and “Data analysis and optimization design” for under-graduated students, the courses of “Optimization analysis and experiment design” for Master degree candidates, and the courses of “Optimization analysis and experiment design”, “Food science and engineering classics study” for doctoral candidates.

5. Postgraduate studentsThe number of graduate students is 33; there are 3 doctoral students and 6 masters at present.

6. Research projectsProfessor LIN presided 41 national level, provincial, and university-enterprise cooperation projects, including a 13th Five-year Plan for Key Research and Development Projects (class of foundation frontier), a National Natural Fund Project, a 863 Project Subtopic and a National 12th Five-year Science and Technology Support Program.

7. Published papers in recent three yearsAs the first or corresponding author Professor LIN published 51 SCI papers at Journal of Agricultural and Food ChemistryFood ChemistryInternational Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, and published 28 EI papers at Agricultural Engineering Academic Journal, Jilin University Journals, etc.

8. Literature publicationProfessor LIN published 7 literatures as a joint editor or deputy editor. The “Functional Food” was chosen as the national 12th five-year plan textbook. The characteristic textbooks of “Functional Food” and “Food aseptic processing technology and equipment” were recommended by Food Science and Engineering of the Teaching Guidance Committee of Ministry of Education as a paratactic editor-in-chief.

9. Patent licensingAs the first inventor Professor LIN applied for 42 invention patents and obtained 23 authorized invention patents. Four invention patents were rewarded and one patent was enterprise transformed.

10. AwardsAs the first person, Professor LIN obtained one first prize, one second prize and one honorable mention of provincial natural science achievement; seven scientific and technological achievements of Jilin province were identified.
