Dalian Polytechnic University (DPU) will enroll full-time postgraduates (both doctor and master) and undergraduates (bachelor) for 2024-2025 Academic Year Chinese Government Scholarship-Silk Road Program.

Scholarship Coverage
It provides a full scholarship which covers tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly living allowance.
Eligibility
1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country of “Belt and Road Initiative”, has good medical health, abide by the laws and decrees of the Chinese government and observe the rules and regulations of DPU.
2. degree and age and language proficiency
l Applicants applying for bachelor programs should have senior high school diploma and above with excellent academic performance; no more than 25-year-old.
l Applicants applying for master programs should have bachelor’s degree and above with excellent academic performance; no more than 35-year-old.
l Applicants applying for PhD programs should have master’s degree or above with excellent academic performance; no more than 40-year-old.
l Applicants who apply for Chinese-medium instruction need to submit HSK 4 certificate or above. Applicants who apply for English-medium instruction should be native of English-speaking countries. Candidate not from web_English-speaking countries need to submit English proficiency certificate: TOFEL, IELTS, or experience of English-medium instruction.
Application Documents
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (Visit www.campuschina.org, complete online application and download the form. Forms should be personally signed by candidates).
2. Notarized highest diploma.
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. Notarized Academic trans cripts.
Trans cripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal.
This should be a minimum of1000 words, either in English or Chinese.
5. Two Recommendation Letters.
Applicants must submit two recommendation letters signed by a professor or an associate professor, either in English or Chinese.
6. Foreigner Physical Examination Form （photocopy, valid for 6 months, written in English）
The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
7. The copy of HSK Certificate (if applicants have attended HSK).
8. Other supporting materials (such as published papers, job certificate, certificates of awards and trainings, etc.).
9. A scanning copy of the first page and a blank page of passport.
10. No criminal record.
11. A letter of Intent, indicating supervisor’s intent of accepting.

1. Complete the online application prior to March 31st, 2024. Please visit the online application system of Chinese Scholarship Council at http://www.campuschina.org, and enter “Scholarship Application for Students”. Register for an account, fill in all the required information, and an application form will come into web_being. Print out the form, sign and date, and post a photo on it. To complete the form successfully, please note the following information:
(1) Please choose Program Category Type B when you start the online application.
(2) The Agency No. of Dalian Polytechnic University is 10152.
2. Visit Dalian Polytechnic University International Student Management System at http://lxsglxt.dlpu.edu.cn and complete online application.

Note：
1.According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, Chinese government scholarship students may not enjoy the support of other scholarships (excluding all kinds of one-time awards) set up by Chinese governments at all levels and admission institutions at the same time. Once found, your Chinese government scholarship qualifications will be canceled and you must return the Chinese government scholarships you have received. Those who deliberately conceal their financial support are disqualifies for scholarship and not allowed to apply for Chinese government scholarships within three years.
2. Please be sure to complete application both in the "Dalian Polytechnic University International Student Management System" (http://lxsglxt.dlpu.edu.cn) and in CSC system（ https://www.campuschina.org/ ） and submit the same application information and documents.
3. After applying online, if approved, scholarship applicants must provide the original copies of their diplomas and trans cripts for verification upon registration. Those who fail to pass the verification will not be enrolled and must leave China at their own expense within the validity of their visa.
