International Economics and Trade (For International Students)
1. Objectives
The objective of International Economics and Trade is to provide internationally competitive undergraduate education. This program is interdisciplinary and designed to prepare students for participation in organizations that require specialized knowledge, basic theories and applicable skills in global economy and an understanding of the development of the globalized world and China. The program also prepares students for a broad globalized perspective and graduate programs in business and related fields.
2. Qualifications
l To provide a strong economics foundation and develop the basic analysis method
l To enable students to develop extensive knowledge and specialized skills
l To enable students to understand economy policies, laws and regulations of China and the main countries of the world
l To enable students to understand the dynamic development of international economics and trade
l To develop students’ competencies in addressing specific issues related to international economics and trade
l To facilitate students’ developing communication skills
