In order to enrich the learning experience of Chinese culture during pandemic, a series of activities and contests will be held online. Welcome all DPU students both domestic and abroad to join. We will provide you with a platform of communication and learning, an opportunity to have a deeper understanding on Chinese culture, and a way to enhance your sense of beloning.
I. Activities and Contests
i. Ask and answer contest: How much do you know about Chinese culture?
l Participants: all DPU students. We will pair each Chinese student with an international student. Gourps are formed automatically according to your signing-up order.
l Contest: All participants will attend preliminary and final. The groups which get the highest points win the prizes.
l Prizes: one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize. Groups which win the prize higer than honorary mentioned will be awarded certificate and prizes.
l Times: signing-up: June 16 to June 19; Final contest: June 24, 13:00-15:00

l Singing up: Sign up by scanning QR code and indicate the type of contest you sing up on the singing-up form.
ii. “Read China”writing competition
l Participants: all DPU international students.
l Composition requirements: there is no requirements on title, genre, and style, and your composition should be less than 1000 words.
l Criteria:
1. The content is original and positive, having clear theme, using fluent language, and being vivid or moving;
2. Reflect the excellent traditional Chinese culture or show the charm of Chinese language.

l Prizes: one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize.
iii. “My story againt COVID-19”art competition
l Participants: all DPU international students.
l Art form requirements: In the form of calligraphy, painting (country, plate, oil, animation, etc.), photography, sculpture, advertisement, industrial design, fashion design, ceramics, paper cutting, weaving, embroidery, dyeing and weaving, handicrafts, etc., the creation is based on the fight against the pandemic. Each work shall be given a name and attached with a brief introduction of no more than 50 words.
l Criteria:
1. The work should be original;
2. The work should contain elements related to fights against the pandemic;
3. The word should show creativity and artistry.
